Pipe Insulation is a great way to reduce heat loss. It increases the initial temperature of the water by 2-4 degrees Farenheit. This allows you to turn your water tenperature settings down. Also if the pipes burst the pipes are contained which doesn't alow as much water to leak everywhere in your house.
