Kinetic Sculptures

By Tito the Flying Asian

A European man has blended art and engineering with his kinetic sculptures: art that moves. He bases his creations on animals and he uses no engines or motors. It runs purely on wind and perpetual motion. It took him years to perfect a fluid, stable motion for each of the legs. Sometimes he lets them loose on beaches and with an air powered sensor, they are able to walk freely and avoid water. He makes most of his 'animals' out of plastic piping. In the future this technology could be perfected to create some sort of no pollution, completely free powered transportaion.
